Optical Neuroimaging Approaches
Qingming Luo
Hainan University, Haikou City, Hainan Province,China
For neuroscience research, optical imaging has the advantages of noninvasive or least invasive, functional imaging with high or good imaging contrast, high temporal/spatial resolution, and multi-parameters/parallel measurements. In this presentation, I will discuss the approaches of optical imaging of neural activities from neuron, neuronal network, cerebral cortex, to brain level, with or without the optical molecular biomarkers. I will also report the recent imaging results of mouse brain-wide neuronal networks with single-cell resolution.
